Residents and family doctors team sign voluntary

The Shenzhen Municipal Health Planning Commission pointed out that the family doctor service implemented in Shenzhen is a contract service. On the basis of voluntary and two-way choices, the family doctor team establishes a contractual service relationship with community residents. The service parties sign the family doctor service agreement to clarify the service personnel, the project, the method, the time limit, the rights and obligations of both parties, and the circumstances of the cancellation and renewal. The contract period is in principle 1 year.

The family doctor service is mainly for residents in the jurisdiction, including key populations such as children aged 0-6, maternal, elderly, chronically ill, severely mentally ill and tuberculosis.

The "Measures" also stipulates that the number of services provided by each family doctor service team is generally not more than 2,000 to ensure the quality of service.

The general practitioner is the first person responsible

According to the relevant requirements of the state and the province, at this stage, the family doctor service is a team-based service, so the contract with the residents is a family doctor service team.

The “standard” of the family doctor service team is the general practitioner + community nursing staff. The “Measures” propose that the public health doctors, specialists, pharmacists, health managers, and psychologists can be “opted” according to the health needs of the contracted residents.
