Although Daiyun black chicken has been in Dehua for hundreds of years (county records have a history of 500 years), because the chicken is “expensive and difficult to raise”, it has extremely high requirements for various technologies such as breeding and epidemic prevention. Dehua black chicken has two kinds of black crown and red crown.
