Yunnan Pesticide Exploration for Survival

Under the new market situation, how do companies survive? On February 24, leaders from a number of pesticide companies in Yunnan gathered together to discuss the development of pesticide companies in Yunnan, and elected a new industry leading organization—the Yunnan Province Chemical Industry Association Pesticides Professional Committee. At present, there are only 16 approved pesticide production enterprises in Yunnan Province. The sales revenue of the largest pesticide company in the province is about 100 million yuan. The province has fewer professional pesticide technicians and less excellent equipment. The status quo of the pesticide industry does not match the advantages of Yunnan's existing resource-rich provinces. Enterprises face regional advantages in the Southeast Asian market but do not know how to develop.

According to Sun Zhenfeng, president of the Yunnan Chemical Industry Association, the current status of Yunnan's pesticide industry is that there are few manufacturers, small scales, few varieties, low technology starting points, poor economic returns, and weak research and development capabilities. The pesticide industry did not form a dominant product in the Yunnan chemical industry. Compared with the coastal developed provinces such as Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong and other provinces and cities is very weak. 90% of products in Yunnan's pesticide market come from outside the province and abroad, and the share of pesticide products produced by Yunnan itself is less than 10%. Yunnan does not have a dedicated pesticide industrial park, which affects the future development of pesticide companies in the province. The development of pesticides in Yunnan Province also has its own advantages in resources, the use of yellow phosphorus can produce organic phosphorus pesticides, production of calcium-containing fungicides, while the use of Yunnan's unique biological resources to develop biological pesticides, while Yunnan engage in "bridgehead" construction, with the development of international Market location advantage.

A person in charge of pesticide companies told reporters that the current price of pesticide products developed by pesticide companies is high. It takes two years for a company to register a product. At the same time, it needs to do a lot of work. The cost is very high. It takes a lot of manpower and material resources to do marketing work after the license number is all put into production. In Yunnan, in general, the production of each product is small. At the same time, since the time for product development is often very long, the market may have changed when it is produced, and companies have to choose new products for registration. The long period of registration of pesticides led to the inability of enterprises to form large-scale production, which further led to increased production and management costs of enterprises. This made it difficult for the majority of pesticide companies to survive and the development was slow.
Another person in charge of the enterprise stated that Yunnan Province uses about 40,000 tons of pesticides each year to control pests and weeds. The province’s pesticide market accounts for 90% of its pesticide demand. In view of this special situation, he suggested that Yunnan Province must accelerate the development of the pesticide processing industry. However, in view of the fact that the province's pesticide companies generally have small production scale, single species production, backward production equipment and process technology, lack of funds, and lack of scientific research, it is difficult for individual companies to develop independently. A finger is very weak, and five fingers can form a fist to form a fist. Therefore, he suggested that the pesticide companies in the province should be united. It is imperative to solve the problem of joint production bases.

Li Keqiang, standing member of the Pesticides Professional Committee of the Yunnan Chemical Industry Association and deputy director of the Yunnan Normal University Pesticide Research Institute, said that the new Pesticides Specialist Committee will serve as a bridge between pesticide companies and the government, pass government policies, and promptly reflect business difficulties and needs. At the same time, with market-oriented and product as the core, through the integration of production, education and research, we will promote the construction of a pesticide technology innovation system supported by enterprises and research institutes. We will also actively promote the development of enterprises in Yunnan and neighboring countries in conjunction with the opportunities for the construction of “Qiaotoubao” in Yunnan Province. Docking, seeking diversified cooperation. Carry out in-depth investigations and actively help and promote the development of pesticide SMEs in Yunnan Province.

Vitamin

Vitamins are a type of trace organic substances that humans and animals must obtain from food in order to maintain normal physiological functions. In terms of physiological functions, vitamins are neither a raw material for tissues nor a substance for supplying energy, but they are an indispensable substance for the body. It has many types and different chemical structures. Most of them are the components of the coenzyme (or prosthetic group) of certain enzymes. They are the indispensable compounds for maintaining the normal growth (growth, health, reproduction and production function) of the body. It plays a catalytic role in the body to promote the synthesis and degradation of major nutrients (proteins, fats, carbohydrates, etc.), thereby controlling metabolism. Vitamins are essentially low-molecular organic compounds. They cannot be synthesized in the body, or the amount synthesized is difficult to meet the needs of the body, so they must be supplied from the outside. The daily requirement of vitamins is very small (usually measured in milligrams or micrograms). They are neither a raw material for body tissues nor a substance for energy supply in the body. However, they do not regulate material metabolism, promote growth and development, and maintain physiological functions.
