Formation and leakage of air conditioning condensate and treatment

There are two main places in the air conditioning system to produce condensed water: one is the air cooler of the outdoor host, and the other is the end of the indoor air conditioner (such as the fan coil). The mechanism of condensate generation in both places is the same, but the two are not produced at the same time. The air conditioner main unit and the air conditioner terminal respectively generate condensed water for absorbing heat to heat the room and absorbing heat to cool the room.

1. The reason why the air conditioner host produces condensed water

When the outdoor air exchanges heat with the air cooler of the air conditioner main unit to absorb heat, the wall surface temperature of the surface cooler is lower than the outdoor air dew point temperature, and the water vapor contained in the outdoor air is deposited on the wall surface of the air cooler to dew condensation. When it is increased to a certain extent, it will slide down to the condensate pan below the air cooler, thus forming condensed water.

Condensate treatment: Connect the condensate pipe to the condensate pan to discharge the condensate to the appropriate place.

Outdoor main unit condensate pipe installation:

Large units are generally laid flat or on the roof, and the drainage requirements are not high.

Small home consoles can be drained to the right place.

2. Causes of condensation at the end of the air conditioner

The end of the air conditioner exchanges heat with the indoor air to cool the dehumidified air. Since the temperature of the end wall of the air conditioner is lower than the dew point temperature of the indoor air, the water vapor contained in the indoor air will be deposited on the end wall of the air conditioner and dew condensation. When the dewdrop is increased to a certain extent, The condensate pan slides down to the end of the air conditioner to form condensate.

Condensate treatment: Treatment of condensate at the end of the air conditioner A special condensate system in the air-conditioning water system discharges the condensate from the end of the air conditioner.

Indoor condensate pipe installation:

The slope of 1:100 (that is, the length of each meter requires a drop of 1 cm) to ensure that the condensate can be discharged smoothly.

Mounting support between 0.8-1 m intervals

Increase the sheath between the support and the condensate pipe

Add a vent hole at an interval of 3 meters. The vent hole outlet should be horizontal or downward to prevent dust from entering and accumulating.

Do a good job on the tube

Pipeline cannot be folded in half

For indoor units with lift pumps or heights, increase the check curve

The condensate pipe needs to be insulated, and the gap between the insulation cotton should be glued.

The following issues should be noted for condensate discharge from indoor units or small hosts:

First, the condensate pipe should be connected to a place close to the drainage ditch, which is convenient and quick, which is conducive to the collection of condensed water, watering the collected water or other things;

Second, some air conditioners are installed on relatively high floors. At this time, it should be noted that the drain pipe cannot make the condensate flow to the windows on the next floor or on the balcony.

Of course, there are always imperfections in the installation. Sometimes, if it is not required to be installed, it will lead to leakage. The leakage of air conditioning condensate involves two aspects: first, leakage of condensate from the outdoor host, and second, leakage of condensate from the indoor unit.

Leakage of outdoor host condensate

The main engine is usually installed on the outdoor flat or the roof. The drainage requirements in this place are generally not high, but condensate leakage will also occur. This mainly occurs in units installed on the roof and not waterproofed on the roof. In cold places, if the condensed water is not discharged in time, the long floor will be easily frozen, resulting in water seepage on the floor.

Approach:

1. Waterproof treatment of the floor before construction

2. Condensate water for centralized discharge

Leakage of indoor unit condensate

Most indoor condensate leaks occur in the following areas:

First, the condenser water tray

1. The water tray is not installed properly, causing the backwater to flow backwards.

When installing the air conditioner, the air conditioner is not installed according to the instructions. The air conditioner has a certain installation slope (about 3-5 degrees before the high height or 3-5 degrees lower than the left and right, and the drain is at the right rear corner). If so, the air conditioner will be installed. Adjust to normal.

2. The water drain of the water tray is blocked.

Because there are dust and other water-insoluble debris in the air, it is easy to accumulate these impurities when the air conditioner is running for a long time. If it is serious, it will cause the drain to be blocked. The simple way is to find the drain, and then pull the drain directly from the interface. Use a small screwdriver or other sticks to open the drain debris, and then rinse the indoor evaporator (water tray) with water several times to slowly remove the plug from the water tray. If not, ask a professional to clean it. .

3. The installation of the condensate pipe is poor, resulting in poor drainage, and the accumulated water overflows from the water tray.

3.1 Condensate pipe installation without slope

3.2 The condensate pipe support interval is too long, causing the pipe to sag

3.3 Condensate pipe without venting holes

3.4 condensate pipes in two pairs

3.5 Condensate pipes do not make traps, causing backflow of water

Second, the condenser outlet pipe (including the internal and external machine connection pipe)

1. The leakage caused by the damage of the drain pipe should be replaced. It is necessary to use the drain pipe of the same material. Because it is troublesome to replace, it is recommended to find a professional. Reconnect the water pipe, immediately pour the water onto the evaporator (water tray), check the new water pipe without leaking and then wrap the insulation cotton.

2. The drain pipe insulation cotton is damaged or not wrapped to cause leakage of condensed water. In this case, it is only necessary to repair the damaged position, but it must be sealed.

3. The quality of the insulation material is inferior, the coldness of the pipeline is transmitted to the surface, and the room through which the pipeline passes or the toilet, the kitchen and the like are relatively humid, and a large amount of condensed water is generated on the pipeline surface.

Third, the air outlet

1. The air conditioner evaporator is too dirty, so that the air conditioning condensate is not flowing smoothly, and the accumulated water is taken out by the fan impeller; or because the air humidity is particularly large, the air conditioner indoor unit wind speed is also large, so that the condensed water is easily discharged from the air outlet. Falling into the room, the solution is: a cleaning the indoor evaporator, b to reduce the indoor fan speed.

2. The water accumulated in the water tray is too much, and the accumulated water is taken out by the wind blades. For specific reasons, please refer to * points.

Compacted Vacuum Suction Unit

Compacted Vacuum Suction Unit

ETR has independently developed an integrated vacuum pump unit composed of a water-ring vacuum pump, a gas-water separator, a vacuum solenoid valve, pipe fittings and an electrical control system. It is a simple, safe and reliable device that continuously serves the wards all day long, without occupying the ward space. The negative pressure is sourced from the vacuum pump unit.
