How to fertilize greenhouse soil

Greenhouse soil management is mainly to improve the soil and fertility, in order to improve its physical and chemical properties, create a good environment for the growth and development of fruits and vegetables roots, prevent soil acidification, salinization and nutrient imbalance.

Addition of Organic Fertilizers Organic fertilizers contain various nutrients needed by fruits and vegetables and are released slowly, without excessively high concentrations of soil solutions or excess of elements. Organic fertilizer also contains a large number of microorganisms, which can promote the release of nutrients fixed by the soil and increase the concentration of active ingredients. However, the use of nitrogenous organic fertilizers should be moderate.

Rational use of chemical fertilizers Nitrogen fertilizers should be used in a moderate amount, and top dressings should be “several times”. Watering after application reduces the concentration of soil solution. Regularly determine the effective concentration of various elements in the soil and the nutritional status of the fruit, and conduct formula fertilization. It is not appropriate to apply too much fertilizer containing sulfur and chlorine.

For soils that have undergone acidification, salt-washing, washing, or application of quicklime and acidified soils in acidic soils should be performed by flooding, and physiological acidic fertilizers should no longer be used. When the greenhouses are cultivated for many years and the soil salinization and acidification are serious, the soil in the tillage layer must be replaced in time and the fertile soil should be replaced in the greenhouse.
